It all started on February 25, 2023. In the early hours of that day I realized I could not walk without stumbling. Scans in the hospital revealed that some nerves running through my spinal cord were twisted behind my neck. My case was immediately assigned. to a neurosurgeon.
The neurosurgeon has stated that i will definitely go through a very lengthy recovery time.
I have been out of work since March 2023 due to a spinal chord surgery.
My disability benefit of $2000 – which cannot cover my monthly expenses – ends October 2023.
Monthly expenses:
rent – $1200
food – $300
medication – $300
utilities – $210
health insurance _ $400
I have unpaid medical bills with “North West” hospital and its contractors of about $10000.
The bills I have attached are those I can find at this moment. At the moment, I am getting behind in my rent payments. physically, it is still impossible for me to look for a job. I have a problem with proper coordination of my hands and legs. My physical therapist has done the best he can. He recommends a gym with a personal trainer for me.
At the moment of writing this, I am already receiving threatening phone calls from bill collectors. Alongside these are mails to the same effect. Cable TV is now considered a luxury. The service was disconnected two months ago and i am not worried about its reinstatement. If my landlord ever attempts to evict me, I will present my case in the court.
I am a proponent of charitable contributions. I give to churches when I have. There will always be people who need help. when I get out of my present ordeal, I would become a donor instead of positioning myself on the receiving end.
As the saying goes ” every little bit helps ” I appreciate, in advance, all contributions.
Sincerely,
Anthony
