We’re all looking for ways to support Jackson and Erin while he’s in the hospital. Jackson went in the hospital on March 30th. Erin had taken leave for about 4 weeks to have surgery. She was supposed to go back to work on April 1st, instead she has been at the hospital. The medical bills haven’t started to arrive but, they are expected to be a lot. At this point they aren’t sure when he will be able to go home and when he does there will be a long road to recovery.
The doctors have said there isn’t a recorded case of someone having all the different diagnoses that he has. He had a case of strep that caused lesions in his throat and lungs. After this happened it seemed to invite a lot of other viruses including the flu, sepsis and some fungi into his system. All of this has led to pneumonia with fluid around his lungs and heart. Currently, the doctors are working to drain the fluid and trying to figure out how to keep it and all the infections at bay.
