Hello, I’m Mitchell. I’m a stage 4 mouth and esophageal cancer survivor who went through surgery, chemo and radiation. The treatment regimen and surgery basically sucked the life out of me and almost killed me. I never smoked in my life. I’ve lost 68 pounds as well as all of my teeth from all of the chemotherapy and radiation and it’s now almost impossible to eat. My immune system is now also severely compromised and I have had Covid and had to be hospitalized for pneumonia. I’m unable to work at this time and I do not qualify for unemployment. I’m now about to become homeless on top of all of that. I have no family I can reach out to or ask for assistance. I’m at my wits end after being a contributing member of society all of my life. I’m asking for this help so I can cover some medical bills, get temporary or permanent teeth so I can eat properly and get some housing. I’ve never asked for charity before in my life and I’m so very embarrassed that I have to resort to something like this and post this. Any financial assistance that anyone can provide will be greatly appreciated. I cannot thank each and every one of you enough who have taken the time to read this.
