In February 2018 at the age of 28 I was diagnosed with stage 2b breast cancer and had 16 rounds of chemo and 28 rounds of radiation I thought I was on the road to recovery. Unfortunately, in February of 2022 the breast cancer came back and metastasized to my lungs and lymph nodes at the same time I found out I had Covid.  I am now a 32 yrs old single mother and I have a 5 yr old son. Since my second diagnoses it has been difficult for me to work, while also going through treatment with all the side effects that the medicine has been giving me. I am needing assistance to help with rent and to alleviate some of the stress financially for the days when I cannot physically go to work. The money would also go towards taking care of my son and pay for bills that are behind and to pay some ahead of time because I have a surgery coming up to get my ovaries removed and will be out of work for a month. I have tried taking out loans with no success and really am needing assistance. I normally am too prideful, but this is for my son and in the hopes that we do not have to be homeless while I am also going through a terminal illness. My son is my world, and I would hate to let him down due to a illness I have no control over. I want him to have the best memories while I am still here.
