Shirlee suffered a stroke on the evening of December 27, 2023 and was life flighted from Butte, Montana to Billings, Montana.  Shirlee is struggling with her legs, arm and speech.  She now has A-Fib and is in Intensive Care.   Her medical expenses will be tremendous.  Shirlee’s family support is her granddaughter/husband and great grandchildren.   We are hoping to raise at least $20,000 to assist with medical expenses and support for her granddaughter to stay in Billings with her until Shirlee can be moved to a rehab facility in either Billings, Missoula or Great Falls.

Shirlee is vital to our Veteran’s and our  community.  Shirlee is the back bone of the Marine Corp. Toys for Tot’s program and has been for many years.  Shirlee is also involved in making sure the Veteran’s residing at Southwest Montana Veteran’s Home; Copper Ridge Care & Rehab; Crest Nursing Home; Bee Hive Homes; and Continental Care & Rehab are recognized at holidays and receive cards/gifts.  Shirlee is part of the United Veterans Council Honor Guard; Poppy Drive; Coffee Stops; Naturalization Ceremonies; Veteran’s Day Events; Memorial Day Events; any event that is in support of Veteran’s and their families.   Shirlee has touched the lives of so many or our Veteran’s and their Families.  Now we are asking for your support to help Shirlee get the medical care she needs.  We need her in our Veteran’s Organizations to continue to make Butte a better place to live.  Your donation is greatly appreciated!  All prayers for the family are welcome also.
