I would appreciate any help for our Mom. Here is a little background on my Mom, to make a long story short, within a 5 yr period, she had to take care of her mother, who had been dx with rectal and lung cancer, and her brother, who had stomach cancer. They both passed away within 5 months of each other. Then a year later, she developed breast cancer. She had to have chemo for 8 months, then had her breast removed then was told she needed radiation. She completed her radiation and then was admitted to the hospital because she ended up with sepsis due to the port; she didn’t even know her children when she would wake up. All of these events have put her in financial ruin, and she is trying so hard to keep her head above water.
