We have three kids, ages 7, 10, and 13, and we live in a small house that needs some serious repairs. A few months ago, our roof started leaking and our basement flooded. We had to spend a lot of money to fix the damage and prevent mold from growing. Then, last week, my husband lost his job due to the pandemic. He was our family’s main breadwinner and we have no savings left. We are struggling to pay our bills and buy groceries. We don’t know how we will make it through the next month.
