My name is Michele Terran and I am 59 years young.  I was originally diagnosed with breast cancer in April of 2013. In May of 2013, I underwent a double mastectomy, followed by chemotherapy and 7 years of hormone therapy in an attempt to prevent future cancer.  In August of 2020, during a routine pre-surgery screening (knee replacement), it was discovered that my cancer had returned (metastatic breast cancer).  I t started in my sacrum area.

Since then, I have undergone both radiation and chemotherapy as well as a daily dose of oral chemotherapy.  Last month it was discovered that cancer had spread to my liver and well as my spine, several ribs and my right hip.  Because of all of the treatments I have undergone, I developed Diabetes and stage III kidney disease.

I am a single mom to two beautiful daughters.  One is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and travels around the United States for work.  My other daughter (the oldest) is mentally disabled.  She brings me so much joy. She has the mental age of a six-year-old.  She also endures seizures daily (some lasting over an hour at a time).  I am her main caregiver.  My husband and I are legally separated, and he recently underwent an emergency triple bypass and is unable to help me much. Because of this, money has been extremely tight.

I am asking $25,000 for help pay back utilities, house taxes and medical bills.  With what is left over, I would like to buy myself a foldable scooter to put in my car, as I have a lot of pain and difficulty walking any sort of distance (i.e., grocery shopping, etc.) and to establish a “medical” fund for next year’s deductible.  My deductible this year was $7000 and I am sure it will be a lot more next year.

Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you and have a blessed day.
