Family and friends, the Nielsen family humbly request your prayers and support.
In the fall of 2022, Lance, husband and father of our family suddenly became ill while on the road for work. Lance’s health and energy level declined rapidly and needed immediate medical attention. His medical examination and test results revealed that Lance had stage IV cancer which had metastasized to his spine, legs and brain. Lance has been battling diligently to improve his health for as long as he can, keeping his faith in our Lord and Savior, following diligently all doctors orders, treatments and dietary instructions to fight his cancer. It is becoming harder and harder for Lance to work and for us make ends meet with the normal monthly bills and now the increasing costs of ongoing medical treatments and prescriptions.
Our Ask – We humbly ask for a donation of any amount to help support the costs of expensive cancer treatments, doctors & specialists and needed prescriptions.
Our Promise – Please be assured that all of the money raised in this campaign will go completely to ongoing treatments, care and associated medical expenses needed to support Lance’s battle with cancer and to support our family in this time of need and hope. It is Lance’s, wishes that any and all unused funds raised in this campaign go directly to another deserving family who is battling cancer.
Our Back Story – My Husband (Lance) and I (Sheri) met during our first year of college and we were inseparable. We spent the next 4 years planning our future. We married right out of college. Lance pursued a career as a professional golfer, playing on the Canadian Golf Tour and attending the PGA Tour qualifying school. A car accident ended that golf dream. God had other plans for us. We are blessed with 2 children and we put our focus on Jesus Christ, our marriage and our family. Lance has dedicated his life to God, his family and helping others. We have been a small business owner for the past 15 years, traveling across the southwest to promote our business and produce a modest living. We, like a lot of people went through some financial struggles during the 18 months of the COVID-19 period but through the mercy of God, managed to stay afloat until recently when the medical expenses have started to increase.
