My wife Linda was recently diagnosed with cancer, I recently lost my job of 32 years. Trying to pay down debt in preparation for loss of income due to the fight against cancer. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. This has been a difficult time for us, it’s Christmas and our future is uncertain. Never thought this could happen to us but here we are. We are grateful to have found this organization and hope to find the help we need. Thank you all for caring and we hope that some day cancer can be eliminated so people don’t have to go through hard times like this. At least there are organizations like this platform to assist. My wife Linda and I were nearly retirement age and were looking forward to retirement, but things are very unsure now and due to my position being eliminated it is just horrible timing. Please find it in your hearts to help our family through these times. One of Linda’s fears is letting the family down, we have 2 beautiful grand children, Donovan and Adrien who, with their mother will be moving in with us due to family circumstances. It will be tough trying to keep this from the kids and hope it doesn’t negatively affect their lives too much. Last year, someone hit our car and we bought a new car we wouldn’t normally have spent money on. Now those car payments along with other bills such as student loans and regular household bills will be a heavy burden if we lose our second source of income. Again any help is appreciated.
