This is my story. There’s no other way then to tell a story but to tell it right?

I am a man, and I was young and dumb. I started out in life doing all the wrong things. I got a woman pregnant, and I married her because it was said it’s the right thing to do. That marriage had three children. The marriage ended when I went to prison. I also served our country though the army.  I ended up serving time in the department of corrections for the mistakes that I made, I also completed parole and probation satisfactory. One of my stipulations was a work release program in which I also completed. Sometimes in life we all make mistakes that we shouldn’t, but we live as learn from them.

Around January of 1999 I was doing my work release program and doing it in good faith as correctly as possible. I needed to change my old ways as habits. While working this program there was a Women who I couldn’t keep my eyes off her. She was beautiful smart amazing funny talented as had a head on her shoulders. I was just mind baffled to as why such a Lady was a prisoner. I had to get to know her as to what her story was. That day after work I seen she was riding the same bus as myself. As we boarded the bus, I grabbed a seat and offered her my seat due to the seats filling up quickly.  She accepted and I had her sit on the inside being the gentleman I am. I bluntly asked her story. She openly had conversation with me, and we spoke about it. I was mind blown that she even got time for the case it was absolutely bizarre. She came from a family of sexual abuse mental abuse was raped at the age of three and what her family did to her is unacceptable. This woman could write a book and I bet it be a top seller in any bookstore. Move forward a little, we worked together rode to work together and spoke on the phone for hours in and hrs. out.  Our friendship landed a bond, and that bond landed a relationship that relationship ended up to our engagement. 25 years later were still together. She also completed every legal obligation recommended and satisfied it completely. She also was coming from a previous abusive relationship of 12 years. She also had three children two older and one younger. She came home and accepted all her responsibilities getting her son back from her crazy family.  The standing Judge who sentenced her was the same standing Judge who handled her case. She went to court and the Standing Judge reversed her custody of her son as expunged her record. The same standing Judge ridiculed her parent’s and family for do what they did. The standing Judge was appalled how they use the legal system to do the things they did to her. The same standing Judge stated it’s a shame I cannot take back your time, but it’s such a curl sad case her time was completed. The Judge recommended her to get it expunged. Although she just moved forward in life happy to have her son back home with her and myself. Sometimes it best to just move forward.

We started our relationship with the clothes on our backs and the change in our pockets. We build our kingdom together. I worked 40 plus hours a week to provide for them as she did her magic to build the castle. We lived life filled with happiness laughter and tons of fun and family vacations when we could afford them. Neither of us had credit cards nor credit it was ruined from priors. Therefore, everything we bought or had we paid cash for.

Move forward to 2016:  I wanted a brand-new Dyson Scooter to ride to work so she didn’t have to drive me daily. She was against it but bought it for me anyways. On Friday November 11th 20016 her biggest reality came true. Someone Ran a stop sign at 60 mph and hit me head on threw me air born and when I landed, they ran me over and left the sense of an accident. The case still is not solved. This put me in the University of Maryland Medical center ICU for 8 weeks. I lost all taste buds, it has also cause erectile dysfunction symptoms. Two broken legs with rods pins and screws. 5 busted ribs, Bleeding of the brain, two punctures in my lungs, and a stroke on top of all that. After I left UMMC I went to a Rehabilitation Center for 4 weeks. I had to learn how to eat again walk again use my hands again how to swallow again and more. I did the best that I could do to return back to the normal life that I now live in taken tons of medications and dealing with pain on a daily. My common law wife was also injured on her job and is now unable to work as well. That left both of us taking care of each other and collection on my SSDA and her SSI. These two incomes are beardly just enough to get us by on our bills. Although we did it. We then had a conversation about wanting to travel the world in our old age as older folks do. We sat down put a budget plan together and put our plan into action.  We had conversation about the pros and cons of a Drive RV or a pull behind travel trailer. Once we put all this together in a plan, we set out on our adventures and journey. We purchased a 2005 Coachman Chapparral 30 ft travel trailer. We then parked it in storage and began the total remodel. Stripping out all the camper furnishings down to the bare frame. We replaced all the lights pluming and things that needed to be changed out.  We began to remodel the inside of the trailer. Now the camper on the outside looks like a camper and then you step inside and it’s all the luxuries of home. All new home decor and furnishings. It’s warm comfortable and cozy and fits our full-time travel needs. Once we got it completed, we set out on our journeys and was enjoying life to the fullest.

Fast forward to November Thanksgiving of 2022:  I got really sick from Thanksgiving until Christmas. I was in 8 different emergency rooms with two hospital admissions. They kept diagnosing me with Dehydration and constipation due to my pain medications. It wasn’t until I went to the Seaford Delaware emergency room that the doctor on call found a mass tumor on my Liver. He recommended we get a biopsy down just to confirm. We followed up with a biopsy and more MRI CT PET SCANS and other test.  On December 26 we set out just to go to a doctor’s visit and ending up staying in a hotel for the month of January.  Due to the gastroenterologist confirmed it was Liver cancer and we now need to see a cancer specialist. We followed up with the Mercy Oncology 301 St Paul Place in Baltimore Md 21202.  Due to me being a new patient we had more doctor visits and test to be done. This was almost back-to-back and why we stay in a hotel in a Baltimore Md. January 3rd, we got to see the doctor, and this is where he confirmed I had stage 4 Hepatocellular Carcinoma Liver cancer. He stated that I had two options one right into hospice care or chemotherapy. He suggested we didn’t wait a week nor two days. He had a stat team and plan ready to go all he needed was the green light. This was Tuesday Monday January 9th was my port placement. January 11th was my first chemotherapy. Followed by more appointments and blood work as port flush. On February 1st I had my 2nd chemotherapy my next appointment is February 22nd.

We packed up the hotel of our little belongings and headed back to our camper travel trailer on February 2nd. Upon getting back putting things away sitting down getting our self’s together we were flipped upside down like what the hell just happened.  This can’t be real, but it’s our reality life right now. We looked into our saving and bill accounts only to see from copays medical and medicines hotel stay and more our accounts are now bone dry. Let’s not talk about all the tanks of gas our V8 SUV takes.  So now we’re still living in our travel trailer over 80 miles away from his doctors and chemotherapy. The trailer and SUV are both needing repairs we can’t afford. We don’t have a home because we sold everything and left the home when we went to full time RV living tiny. We are trying our best to not stress about the bills repairs and more importantly we’re not counting my days down we’re trying to make them count. I want to keep faith I’m still living, and I still want to travel and see this beautiful world we live in the sights are amazing. I don’t want to hear when the doctors say my time is up, I want to keep living enjoying life until GOD SAYS IT’S MY TIME.

So, I have created this fund for all expenses. Whether it be gas food medical hotel or whatever it’s the means that no matter the need I’ll be able to get the needs needed. Whatever funds are remaining after GOD calls me my common life wife won’t have to worried about paying for my pre planned services. She can use these funds to do so.

We are in dire need to fix our SUV, repairs are almost 6k. It won’t even pass inspection right now due to the issues. We’re also in need of new flooring in our travel trailer they are starting to go out. There is a lot of needs they we could use help for. Gas cards Visa Cards for gas & tolls. If someone has a drive RV and would like to donate to us and use that as a tax right off, we’d be grateful of that as well. A drive RV is more of a reality for us right now.  We could junk the old SUV & TRAILER and continue our travels with him in comfort and still make it to his appointments. We can always park in park in lot’s Walmarts and targets and places like that for free for like a week at a time and still live RV living lifestyle. We need the public’s help. That’s one of the reasons we chose to go full time living in a travel trailer. Although our SUV is need of repairs so now that our funds are gone, we can’t afford to repair them right now. We just need help to get back to where we can afford to live full time. This trailer is our home it’s where we’ve been living it’s our dream to live it till the end.

Therefore, we are asking for the public’s help in raising funds and or donations to help us get to where we need to be. Thank you all for reading our story and helping in any way that you can. Even if it’s just SPREADING the WORD ABOUT US. THANK YOU ALL AGAIN. I do have a Wishlist cash app and Venmo if anyone wants it. Thank you all.
