Tony battled and endured diabetes well into his adulthood. He is the proud father of five African American / Puerto Rican children. These children are now left to be raised by a single mom. He surcome to his illnesses at the age of 33.
Prior, he worked to support his family. He worked through his illness and found it challenging to have employers who understood the nutritional needs and demands of diabetes. He worked through all the stages of this deadly disease—kidney disorders, sight complications, and the inability to transport himself to and from work.
He passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2023, after being discharged from the hospital to recover from eye surgery at home.

DIABETES is an under represented condition in the medical industry. There are patients who have resistant types of diabetes that are not always treatable.( Not a scientific fact).
