In the fabric of our lives, threads of resilience, compassion, and love bind us together. Today, we come together to shine a beacon of hope and support for a remarkable young mother, Karlee Wilcox. Karlee is a fighter. She lost her mother when she was just 13. She’s battled the elements of the world and come out on top when the odds were very much against her.
Karlee’s journey has been one of unwavering strength and determination. A beloved mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, and friend who needs our help in her fight against metastatic breast cancer.
Next week, Dallas, her son, who is 5 and starting kindergarten, and this mother of one should be focused on getting all the memories documented and tucked away for future walks down memory lane. Instead, she is preparing her body, mind, and spirit for some tough days ahead that will drain her energy, remove her hair, and make her very sick.
Karlee, a small business owner, has had to step away from her company due to the demands of cancer treatment. She urgently needs medications that insurance isn’t covering, as well as funds for acceptable care for her son as she recovers from chemo, radiation, and a radical mastectomy next month. Time is of the essence, friends.
Your support can make a significant difference in Karlee and Dallas’s lives. Please consider making a tax-free donation today. Any amount is appreciated, and we gladly accept prayers as well.
Yours Truly,
Joanie Sellers Edwards
