I came on here because I am struggling to pay my mother’s funeral expenses and I have no idea what to do. I am trying to get a tombstone and with me only making $10. 00 an hour. I can’t, I am pouring my heart into social media and requesting help which I never do. I am not the type to ask for help and don’t like taking a hand out either.
My mother found out around the 8th of February that she had Pelvic cancer and that it was in the 3rd stage of stage 3 was critical but also curable and right before the last stage which was 4 and incurable. We thought we had a fighting chance everything was gonna be okay, a rough task at hand and a long fight but yet a chance! The second week of March we went on the 8th and had her first treatment and well the next five days were the longest and hardest days of all our lives. She had hurt way more than before and stopped eating and wouldn’t get up outta bed only to go to the bathroom. On the 25th of March little did I know would be the last day I’d have with her. I got up for work and checked on her and when I came in for lunch she asked that I stay and so I did. I called the Doctor’s nurses and even gave her some medicine about 10 to 15 minutes later she ended up passing away.
I am asking today that if anyone who has ever lost a loved one and had to deal with the fees that follow, and even just people with a heart please help me to come up with some of the funds to pay for the expenses and her tombstone. I had to stay with a friend because my home was undergoing renovations and now is still not finished and I don’t even have the money for that. But that isn’t my concern at the moment. I want to make sure she has a tombstone and that her funeral expenses are taken care of. I can’t do it alone. I had lost both brothers and now my mother is the only one in my immediate family so now I am alone I still work making only $10 an hour but I know that this isn’t enough to cover the cost alone. I pray that someone sees this and if you can’t help at least give a prayer and some advice for a broken-hearted daughter.
