Hello to all that may see my need for help.
My name is Janice Huggins, 58yrs old, and is in need of a kidney transplant, I never dreamed that this would happen to me. I feel that I was in good health attending Nursing school for LPN, and trying to open my own business at the same time I am a go getter but everything takes time and money which takes one day at a time until this, this is hard for me to accept, I didn’t know my kidneys was failing until I was at stage 3 and trying so hard to control with no avail. But I wish that I may still finish school and have that business I so dream of, never giving up on it. Now am at stage 4 at the point of transplant. There is so much that has to be done and so long of a wait for a kidney; the hard part is getting the money. I am on medicare, but I still need a lot more for medications and housing for a month if I have to go to Jacksonville for this transplant. It is expensive, and even if I have it here, the meds alone still cost, and the bill will increase if I will have to stay longer in the hospital in either place, this is why am reaching out to you asking for your help. I am afraid of going through this, but, I am not alone with the support of family and friends helping me to deal with it. I don’t want to go on dialysis, which may happen soon, But I pray I may not have to, hoping that the Kidney comes first (smile). I am currently register with Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville Fl, and Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, FL they can verify this for you. Please help me, I will be truly grateful, and appreciate you so much.
