Jeremiah is 10 year old little boy who in the 5 grade in the public school system here in town. Previous testing of Jeremiah tested his math skills at kindergarten level and reading skills at first grade entry two years ago. Currently, as of this year, he is not making any progress academically and the school only offer 30 minutes once a week of speech and OT and missing other necessary IEP therapies that could be helping him. The public school refuses to pay for a ABA intensive private school that specializes with kids that has Autism. If Jeremiah could have the opportunity enrolling into the necessary intensive Aba private school his chances, and success rate would improve drastically fully utilizing, and demonstrating the great gifts that he has intelligence pertaining along with being able to surround himself with peers equivalent, to his level boosting has self-esteem, and personality characteristics that’s sadly have also been lost overtime no longer would struggle with socializing, he would build confidence and he would do great progress academically most important him receiving intense Aba services ll help him to eventually over come the diagnosis. These type of schools is very expensive! Health Insurance won’t cover cost for these type of schools. And is a fight to have the town you live to pay for it, they denied our request to a intensive ABA private school. I would use the money as well to provide home tutoring .
