I need help, please. It doesn’t matter where the help comes from, I simply need all I can get. No credit, just barely hanging on with the rent and such. I had colon cancer 9 years ago, and survived that. Now I have glaucoma, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, sugar in my kidneys, and a lesion on my liver. Thank God for the VA. They don’t cover any dental, however. As a result, my teeth have fallen out, and it’s affecting my breathing to the point where it feels as if my left lung is ready to collapse. It only gets worse, and every day, it’s harder to breathe. This started to happen right after I was honorably discharged from the US Air Force in 1994. Having only gotten worse, my insurance at the time only included a cleaning once a year. I’ve gone way beyond that. I’m in dire straights, and I need help from strangers. Thanks for your consideration. I have nowhere else to go and have become a recluse because of my lack of teeth. I had the few remaining teeth I still had pulled out in 2000. I thought I would be able to get dentures and go about my way. However, 2 issues arose. First, I couldn’t do dentures because of the way that my gums healed. Like really bad!!! Secondly, I found out that even if I could do dentures, they would never fit correctly because of it. The dentures basically would just wobble if I tried to eat.
My only option is to get implants. Without them, I am unable to eat anything but soft food or swallow my food basically whole because I can’t chew it at all. This creates problems for digestion and health. Also, as you can imagine, I have been turned down for jobs because of no teeth and heard all the comments from friends and relatives. It takes its toll on your self-esteem. I want to get the 4 screws on top and 4 on the bottom with partials in between. It will cost about $50,000t. I appreciate any help you can give me so that I can eat and have some self-esteem.
