My husband Shaun was diagnosed with a rare heart cancer and spent many months in the hospital fighting for his life. He still is fighting for his life, only now he is home. It’s been hard for me as a mother with a young son but we have managed by the grace of God. Then hurricane Ian hit. Ian flooded and destroyed our apt. We desperately need funding to move into another home. This apt is filling up with mold due to the flooding and the roof is leaking badly, the ac isn’t working properly and the owner never fixes anything, we had to max out a credit card to pay to have all the trees removed from our roof after Ian and we just rent the property. I’m afraid this apt now after all the hurricane damage isn’t safe for my family especially my husband with rare heart cancer, ( B cell non Hodgkins lymphoma )Any help would be greatly appreciated. My husband is now on ssi and disability and I do work. We need help with the lump sum needed to move into a place, 1st last and security deposits are required and with only me working and the small amount of SSI my husband is receiving it doesn’t allow us to save to move, its just enough to survive in this horrible situation. Thank you for any and all help. God bless you and may you be blessed 10 fold for helping a family who desperately needs this help. We have never had to create a campaign such as this but after everything we have been through and the current situation we have to at least try. Thank you again for any and all help. I will continue to stay positive for my son and husband during such trying times even though it can be hard sometimes. I always do my best to stay positive and focus on the positive. Have a beautiful and blessed day. Sending love from the sunshine state.
