Hello Everyone. In late December, my wife Anna felt weaker and more tired than usual. An X-Ray revealed she had a small pulmonary effusion (fluid) in her right lung. When antibiotics didn’t seem to help, another scan revealed the effusion was larger. Currently, she has had the fluid drained three times. Each time, they could not determine what was causing the fluid buildup. Later, after a CT scan of her abdomen and pelvis was conducted, and we discovered that my wife Anna had uterine cancer. And now, even after we sell our house, we still will not have enough for the continued care she will require, and the measures we will have to take to find a new place to live. I am not trying to give you a sob story, this is the unbelievable reality we have found ourselves in. Anna\’s uterine cancer has already spread a little to her liver. The wonderful advanced care offered by Envita that she could/should get, is asking for $8,000 to $12,000 just for the labs! That does not include any treatment yet. The treatment will cost an additional $80,000 to $100,000! It’s insane what they are charging to get proper care. We are searching for other alternatives that are equally effective, but it apparently the best care is reserved for only the rich. We will try the High Intensity Focused Ultrasound, I have heard good things about, to target her tumors, if that will even be possible. This is all new to us, we have just started trying to reach out for any support or info that would help make a difference. This is the worst, most desperate time for us.
