Imagine being 21 years old, trying to make it on your own, and your entire home and all of your belongings are destroyed in a fire. That’s what happened today.
Oklahoma wildfires are burning down entire areas. Unfortunately, some of these areas also have homes and communities.
The home my niece was staying in, and everything she owned, was destroyed by the Oklahoma wildfires today.
She only has the clothes that she was wearing. Any donation, even one dollar, adds up if many are able to contribute. Fortunately, the people she was staying with, and their animals, were able to get out and their lives saved.She needs clothing, food, a way to pay for shelter, all the necessities. She’s a 21 year old trying to make it and all she owned was burned and destroyed. I cannot imagine the fear and anxiety she is feeling right now
I would normally ask for physical donations, but at this moment she has nowhere to put anything. So, the best way to help is by monetary means, and then I will go purchase gift cards for her to use as needed.

This is devastating, but to be so young and trying to make it on your own, makes it even more horrible. I just want to make sure she’s able to at least buy some clothes and food for right now Her family is helping, but even we don’t have the means to cover everything So, we are reaching out to others for help
