During the spring of 2019, Jordan had finally decided that the Air Force was his life’s calling. Through diet and exercise, he was physically ready to join. Through many hours of study, he was ready to take an exam to determine what career would suit him best. Upon completing his exam, he scored high and could choose any field of his liking. He chose ballistic engineering.

It was a wonderful day when he was sworn in and flew to San Antonio Texas for basic training. Three weeks into basic training, his legs were heavy and he could barely run. Various exams were given, and soon he was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia at 22 years old. One month later, he was discharged without benefits. He was told that he would have a normal life but would have to take a chemo pill everyday for the rest of his life. His life has been far from normal. This type of leukemia is typically diagnosed in men in their 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. The daily chemo treatment has depleted him of energy and the extreme side effects have diminished his quality of life.

Going out and having fun with friends and doing the things that young men enjoy, stopped four years ago. To help Jordan get his life back, there is much to do, one of which is a minimum 12 weeks of vitamin infusions, three times per week are needed to boost Jordan’s immune system and general health. This will allow him to tolerate the gruesome side affects he has endured for the last 4 years since his diagnosis and live the life of a 26 year old instead of an 80 year old.
