Last July while on the first vacation with my wife of 10 years, I got really sick and ended up in the ER where they found a mass on my right kidney that was as big as my kidney. My surgery kept getting rescheduled because beds were needed for Covid patients but finally in September my kidney was removed. May of 2022, I received the news that my cancer had spread to my lungs and had to undergo another surgery to have half of my right lung removed the week before my wife’s 39th birthday. I take Inlyta daily and Keytruda infusion every 3 weeks. My FMLA ran out from work so I no longer have medical insurance and can’t afford my medication or surgery. My wife works a fulltime job, goes to college fulltime online at night, takes care of me, our son, and our home but can’t cover the costs of all the bills plus my medical. Our 15 yr old son tries to book up his evenings and weekends with lawns to mow, etc. to try to help. I am asking for your help to be able to afford my treatment and medical procedures so I can beat this cancer and get my manhood back to support my family before this cancer kills me and my wife. As a man I am supposed to protect and take care of my family. My heart is shattered watching how exhausted my wife and son are and seeing her break down when she thinks no one is watching.
