After receiving a stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis, completing chemotherapy, having a mastectomy with lymph node removal, and finishing 30 rounds of radiation; my mom is cancer free. Now it is time for breast reconstruction to finish her breast cancer journey. For those who do not know, it is almost completely impossible to find a plastic surgeon who will accept insurance to pay for the reconstruction of the breast after a mastectomy due to cancer. My goal is to help my mother raise funds to help pay for this surgery to make her whole again.
