Hey everyone, thank you so much for taking the time to read this. My beautiful stepmother has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has metastasized to her liver. It is inoperable and only able to be treated with chemo and radiation. My father has been trying to shave down unnecessary expenses (they are even considering sending her car back!) over the last couple weeks and has been a rock! My father is unable to work due to being disabled. Lori’s employer does not cover the cost of medical insurance while she is on disability, her insurance is $950 per month, not including medications or deductibles or co-pays. Our donation goal is the cost of her insurance, copays, deductibles, and medications. It will also be used to help with the basic living expenses such as utilities. Anything helps!
