UPDATED:  On Monday, 26 June, Andy was transported to the local ER because he started experiencing what could have been muscle spasms, seizure, or stroke symptoms in his left arm that Andy’s Drs at the Mayo Clinic wanted him to get checked out. Ended with a grandmaw seizure and several more seizures at the ER. After they got him stable they life flighted him to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville.  After an EGG and MRI to look for damage from the constant seizures he was experiencing, he was brought out of his drug enduced coma and taken off the vent and placed on seizure medicine and steroids. Dr’s determined he was experiencing complications from his radiation treatments.  He came home 3 days later.  God is so good!

Andy starts his second round of chemo next week.  He will be doing one week of chemo pills each month for the next several months.   Also part of his treatment is to wear an “Optune” at $26,000 a months.   An Optune is a device that is wore on the head  and by creates Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) that help slow down or stop cancer cell division and may destroy some cancer cells completely.

As you can imagine the cost of that life flight helicopter isn’t going to be cheap nor is those $26,000 monthly aptitude payments.  Any financial help you could give  would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you and God bless.

On 29 March 2023 my brother in law, Andy McReynolds, traveled from Central GA to Pensacola, Florida to help his sister move.   While there he experienced what was first thought as stroke related symptoms.  Imagine everyone’s shocked when a CT scan revealed a large brain tumor.

On 5 April he went to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida for a second opinion and underwent brain surgery on 13 April to remove the tumor.

Thankfully the doctors were able to remove 98% of the tumor, but it is a very aggressive glioma. 😩.  Andy will be required to have radiation, chemo and has been accepted into a trial to help find a cure for glioma type tumors.  Radiation, and chemo will be at Mayo along with the trial.

Andy has always been the rock of the family and goes out of his way to help anyone alot of time at his own expense.    They will be in Jacksonville for months and hope to travel home when possible.  They have been down there now going on two weeks.  If you find it in your heart to help them with these expenses (lodging, gas, food).  I know they will greatly appreciate you.  No amount is too small. If you are unable to donate your prayers are so appreciated.  I quote Andy’s doctor, “You are a miracle, and a blessed man.”

Thank you in advance for your donations and/or prayers.  God bless!
