On January 28, 2024 we lost our lifeline.  Our dear sweet mom, Jackie.  She was 70 years old and had a lot of medical issues that her body could no longer fight off.  She went on to be with our dad and our sweet Lilly. Anyone who knew my mom, was left with a lifelong impression.  She had a great sense of humor, a contagious laugh, a love for everyone she met, she had a heart of gold, and it was big, she loved her Great Grand Kids, Grandkids, Nieces, Nephews and Kids. All in that order…. not kidding!!

As sad as we are that we lost her, we know that she is no longer in pain.  We knew this day was going to come, we just didn’t realize how quickly it would come and how quickly she would leave us. This last time to the ER was her 3rd trip to the hospital just this month. I had a feeling this would be a tough year, but I didn’t know it would be like this.  None of us did.  She went to the ER at 9 a.m. on Sunday, confirmed with my brothers, and sisters, and we all decided comfort care would be her best option.  So, we made that decision at 2:00 p.m. and they had her in a room by 5 and I sat with her from 6-8, went home and got the call at 11:57 that she had passed away.  We were devastated to say the least, thrown in to a state of complete shock.

So, after meetings with medical providers, funeral home and insurance companies, we find ourselves short of meeting their requirements of funds.  So, if at all possible, we would greatly appreciate any donation, or sharing of this fund.  I would like to make sure that we gather enough funds so we are prepared for whatever might still come our way.
