For this upcoming Spring Break Season (March 8-14), I will be going to participate in my first ever mission trip through the organization titled “Bright Hill Collective”.
I will be going with a group of fellow Christians to El Salvador where my energy will be funneled into spreading the word of Jesus and the splendor of God to communities that haven’t yet heard of Yahweh’s might.
For the entirety of the trip, I will be building/repairing homes for community members, running and helping with putting on bible retreats and studies for both the locals and the orphans that live in the nearby local orphanage, and helping set-up courses that will teach moms and dads trades that they can do to earn extra money for their families.
This is an important milestone for my faith, and I am needing some help in gaining funds to go on this trip. Since I am a newly graduated college student with a dog under my care, I won’t be able to afford this trip without some help. With some financial help from neighbors and fellow christians, I will be able to go out of my comfort zone and give back in a way that God would want me to do to people that need to hear about him and his splendorous power.
As God has rescued me from boughts of Depression and Health Problems, this trip will enable me to take what he has gifted me (a second chance in life) to help those that may be experiencing what I had gone through find their light in the tunnel/pit they may be stuck in.
