Update March 26, 2023 – had my biopsy done Friday. We should know if the nodule is returning cancer by Wednesday. All went well Friday. If all is good I can begin radiation treatment. Thank you all for supporting this continued journey. Love and prayers needed.

2022 – Beginning of June dad went into the hospital for knee replacement surgery. It went great, painful but good! He recovered well.

End of June he ripped his bicep muscle from his shoulder bone 😳 It took them 2 weeks to get him in for an MRI. During the MRI they caught part of his right kidney which had a pretty large mass on it. The next day he was back for a CT scan which confirmed a softball size tumor.

Friday of last week he had his bicep muscle pinned back to his shoulder bone 😳 and today he had his right kidney removed along with the cancerous tumor. Doctor said it went good but was larger then they expected. His incision is about 8 inches long!

Crazy how God allows one thing to happen to show us another! He is SO good! So thankful!

Thanks for prayers, calls, texts & messages. He is resting at the hospital where mom is staying with him for the next 3-4 days. Y’all shoot over to his fb page and leave him all the encouraging messages! He will love reading through them. 🤍🤍🤍
Now prostate cancer has been diagnosed and 5-6 weeks of radiation is scheduled. However, before the radiation can take place a renal biopsy needs to take place next Friday, it looks as if the cancer has come back where the kidney and cancer was removed last year. The fight continues, 2022 and 2023 have handed challenges for sure. Must keep upbeat and positive! Prayers and faith to all.
