January of 2022, life changed for Dave Wintrow, when it was discovered he was in Stage 3 of kidney disease/ renal failure. Despite radically changing his diet and medications to support his kidney health, his health declined rather quickly, and just this past July 2023, Dave began peritoneal dialysis. Diabetes and kidney disease are in Dave’s family, but he’s otherwise rather healthy, and determined at 55 to be a good candidate for transplant. We are currently finishing up qualifying him for the transplant list, and actively seeking a living donor to “share their spare,” oh, so selflessly.
Please consider donating toward current medical expenses and future kidney transplant expenses for Dave Wintrow. Those who know Dave know he brings light and fun, kindness and friendship to everyone he meets. He never knows a stranger. He prays constantly for everyone who asks, and those who don’t, but need it. And we all know, he’d give his shirt off his back to anyone in need. And he’s suffering through these physical challenges with his lighthearted optimism; ALWAYS trusting God & His plan, and telling EVERYONE! This OSU Buckeye NUT is proud to be going to OSU for his transplant prep and eventual surgery! It comes at a cost, and waiting means more dialysis, appointments, and other expenses. Please help us help him navigate this medical challenge, without extra worry of finances, and mounting debt.
