Hi my name is Lindsey and I’m trying to help out my sister Jasmin. Jasmin is a 41-year-old wife, mother, and wonderful sister! Her passion is welding and excels at it! Her most recent job was welding up hospital equipment for the kitchens! It was nothing for Jasmin to work all day and then go and teach welding at a local college 2-4 days a week! Jasmin was diagnosed with stage 1a cervical cancer in February of 2022. She had a total hysterectomy on March 28th, 2022. At her 5-week check they found 2 cancerous masses. She started chemo and after 3 rounds they determined it wasn’t working. So they tried a total of 2-3 more types of chemo but they didn’t work either. During the different chemos, she has had two heart attacks, a couple of blood clots in her lungs, and a stroke, all within a couple of months. Due to all of her health issues, she has spent many months in the hospital. In September of 2022, they gave her a terminal diagnosis of 3 months to 1 year. Right now, she is in a clinical trial, and things are starting to look good! Due to not being able to work, she lost her long-term disability threw her job. She applied for SSDI but got denied. Going from a 2 income household to a 1 income household is taking its toll on my sister, her husband, and her stepdaughter. She’s fighting for her life and bills should not be something that any of them have to worry about. Any help will go towards hospital bills, medication, and living expenses.
