Thank you for taking the time to read my story. My family is the most import thing to me next to my faith. I have been married to my beautiful wife Terra for 31 years and we have 2 beautiful daughters Kyndel and Kamryn. Terra and I are going to be grandparents to twin boys in November and Kamryn is a senior at Texas A&M University and I can see another wedding in the near future for her. I was hoping to get Kyndel’s wedding paid off before hers came around, but time will tell. So, I don’t have time CANCER!!!! You never expect to hear you have cancer and that it has already spread to multiple parts of your body. I have too much to live for. I was diagnosed with IV Melanoma with metastatic bone in January. I have worked for UPS for33 years, and it has provided a good living for me and my family. I NEVER knew how much I enjoyed the job until cancer took it away from me. I remember complaining about the job over the years but now I pray every day that God will allow me to go back to work and if you do, I will never say a negative word about the job or company ever again. I’ll be thankful to have my job back making money to provide for my family I also use to beg God to take me away from this job so be careful what you wish for. You look forward to retirement but on your terms not on cancers terms. I have been out of work since February 7.2022. I started radiation and chemo early February. My body has rejected the 2 infusions that I have received, and we are now trying an experimental chemo pill form to control the tumors. It’s very humbling to ask for money when you have provided for your family and now you feel like you can’t and there is nothing that you can do. We have used all of our savings up to this point in time and now fear of losing our home. We travel to MD Anderson on a regular basis which requires 2 days of testing which will require hotel, gas and food. We are so thankful for our family and friends, Lifegroup and Church that has helped us in so many different ways with money and prayers. If God moves, you to give to our family in need bless you.
