My Husband was diagnosed with stage III Cancer in 2020. We’ve been fighting this ever since. He did have a stint of a hiatus awaiting to see if in remission, but a follow-up visit showed it spreading. We do have it hopefully at bay, but we will find out with a follow-up in March. My name is Patty, wife of Steve. my job before this was as a caregiver for the elderly and I had to quit my job to take care of my hubby. Steve had to retire from his job last year, and now we are on a limited income and cutting back what we can. My love for caregiving for other elderly is helpful, but it’s totally different when it comes to your own. Frustration is setting in, because on top of cancer, other small ailments he is having is causing him more frustration and pain than he doesn’t have from cancer. Steve has been doing well with chemo and IV therapies, but these other ailments are causing him displeasure. I normally DON’T go asking for handouts, BUT I’m running out of options and frustrated at trying to keep us afloat. trips to and from and hospital expenses are building up. I appreciate any donations you can afford, along with prayers for us during this time. NOW WE HAVE HOUSE TAXES 2200.00 DUE JULY. Our house is paid for by a miracle 11 yrs ago, and we DONT WANT TO LOSE IT NOW! We’ve been married 32 yrs last October, and I’d like to have a few more if not many more with him.
