My ex-husband found out he has prostate cancer for the second time, he beat it once. But this time his current wife has decided she cannot handle this anymore and kicked him out of his home in Colorado. I live in Washington State with our two children. Jim has to move here because his wife kept the house and only gave him his truck, nothing else. I am letting him stay here at my house because he has nowhere else to go. He has none of his possessions, she kept everything. I am asking for support to help Jim get back on his feet, if it were not for me he would be homeless as well as trying to deal with the cancer. He has no medical up here yet, I am applying for him, no home, nothing that makes every day easier on all of us, let alone those of us with cancer. Jim needs all the basic things needed to set up a home after I find him one. He is on SSI but that is so low that he is barely getting by at all. I am paying for all of his needs at this time but I will not be able to continue because I am also on SSI, I am 64 he is 62, and just recently went through his fourth back surgery so he cannot work. This man did not deserve to have every single thing in his world turned up side down and he desperately needs help right now. He has always worked and feels so helpless right now. Can you please help me to help him??
