My name is Christopher Troupe. I am 23 years old, married, and have a 1-year-old daughter. I am a veteran of the Army, where I served as a Military Police Officer. My wife and I are just celebrating two wonderful years of marriage. Earlier this month, I was diagnosed with a Glioma (brain tumor) on the base of my brain stem. Unfortunately, it is inoperable and incurable. I will be starting Chemotherapy and Radiation shortly, hoping to slow the spread. The funds that we will receive from your generous donations will be used for bills and gas, as I will not be able to work while I’m going through the initial treatment. I will hopefully be able to return to work in a few months, but I will have to continue being tested and more than likely will have to do treatments off and on for the rest of my life.
