Bonnie was diagnosed with 2 different forms of cancer in November 2023. She is going through treatments and we need some financial support to help get her through this.
Going through radiation treatments and chemotherapy is not easy on anyone, and it has been extremely hard on her.
We attend countless doctor visits throughout the week, and then attend her treatments on top of all of this. She has pretty much began to stop eating and is on the verge of giving up and we want to give her the best possible chance for survival or give her the best possible life she has remaining.
Doctors have not yet given her a time frame, however; Chemotherapy is 5% and radiation is estimated at 20-30%. The treatment options for SCLC are based mainly on the stage (extent) of the cancer, but other factors, such as a person’s overall health and lung function are also important. Sometimes, more than one of type of treatment is used. If you have SCLC, you will probably get chemotherapy if you are healthy enough. If you have limited stage disease, radiation therapy and – rarely – surgery may be options as well. People with extensive stage disease often receive chemotherapy with or without immunotherapy.
Bonnie age 68, having diabetes, both NSCLC, and SCLC limit her to the two main types of treatment. So anything helps our family get through this time and help cover the expenses.
Expenses include but not limited to:
Mortgage of 2300/MO, Food, Treatment(s) and misc. transport… Out outgoing bills went from approximately $4400 to almost $8000. not to mention her additional treatments.
So anyone with a big heart and the ability to help… it would be a blessing.
