I need help to stay alive. I’m Rich Columbo living in Trinidad, Colorado. May 3rd 2021 Adenocarcinoma of the lower third Esophageal cancer diagnosis was given to me. I’ve been unable to eat anything other than liquid, lost nearly 65 pounds. A stent was inserted to expand esophagus to allow me to eat, which failed three weeks into treatment has to be removed. Conventional treatment consist of high dose chemo for 6 weeks. Then radiation and chemo together for 6 more weeks. Radiation will burn back of the heart, lung and esophagus requiring a feeding tube for six weeks. Traditional cancer therapy includes 2/3 of the esophagus and stomach removed along with the floating stent. My sister in law is helping to find alternative programs as traditional cancer treatment is horrific. She found EuroMed, located in Arizona, a method known as IPT which uses Insulin and low dose chemo also builds the immune system. I am grateful for any help you can give to continue this method of treatment. I will need several weeks of therapy. I thank you all for taking time to read my story. Rich C.
