6/3/24: Thank you all for your continued support for mom and dad. They are filled with love to see others coming together to support them. They are always surprised by more love, more donations, and more check-ins with them. It shows how many people they have touched, helped and impacted others as so many want to help in different ways. Funds for them are released often, about every 3 weeks, as they work on their home, fixing it up. Thank you!
Here is a note from mom:
3/29/24: We are filled with gratitude for all your support, your donations, sharing the page, reaching out, offering to help in many other ways and planning visits with dad. Thank you very much. It is a humbling experience to see family, friends and community support, to come together for someone you care about.
An upcoming event is in works where all proceeds will go to mom and dad. It’s the Randy- Palooza micro art gallery and silent auction.

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
My siblings and I have decided to start a fund on behalf of our parents.
I’m reaching out to you with a heavy heart, yet hopeful spirit, to share the story of our dad. Our dad, Randy Morgan has been a steadfast presence in our lives for as long as I can remember. Married for 45 years to my mom, Debbie Morgan, he’s been the rock of our family, the pillar of strength, and the source of endless love and support.
Recently, however, our family received devastating news. Dad has been diagnosed with Lewy Body Disorder, a challenging and progressive neurological condition that demands significant adjustments. As a result, Dad must retire earlier than planned, confronting a future filled with uncertainties and obstacles.
Lewy Body Disorder has cast a shadow over our lives, stealing away the vibrant memories we once held dear. It started with the little things – misplaced keys, forgotten appointments, and misplaced belongings. But as time marches on, it’s as if a thief has taken residence in Dad’s mind, stealing away pieces of who he is, piece by heartbreaking piece.
Every forgotten moment is a dagger to our hearts, a stark reminder of the cruel reality we face. We know the memories are still there, buried beneath the tangled web of Lewy bodies in Dad’s brain, but his mind no longer allows him to access them. It’s a painful paradox – a man so full of life, now trapped in a body that betrays him with each passing day.
To witness his decline is to witness a piece of ourselves slipping away, lost to the ravages of an unforgiving disease. Yet even in the depths of despair, there is hope – hope that through our collective efforts, we can ease Dad’s burden and create moments of joy amidst the darkness.
The financial burden of medical expenses and the necessity of retrofitting our family home to accommodate his changing needs have become overwhelming. Our cherished family home, which has witnessed decades of laughter, tears, and love, now requires substantial modifications to ensure Dad’s safety and comfort.
This is where we need your help. We’ve launched “Building Hope,” a fundraiser aimed at raising funds to support Dad’s ongoing care and the necessary renovations to make our family home accessible and safe for him. Your generosity, whether through monetary donations or other forms of support, will make a tangible difference in Dad’s quality of life and our family’s ability to navigate this challenging journey together.
If you’re unable to donate, we completely understand. There are other meaningful ways to contribute, such as supporting Mom with kind words, preparing a meal, lending a listening ear, or simply being there for her during this trying time. Your acts of kindness, no matter how small, will not go unnoticed and will be deeply appreciated.
Thank you for considering our plea and for being a source of light and hope during this dark chapter of our lives. Together, we can provide Dad with the care he deserves and ensure that our family home remains a sanctuary of love and support for him.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Their children
*All funds will be for Randy and Debbie Morgan*
