I’m an elderly disabled 62 year old lady who lives alone in an urban area of  Hot Springs, Arkansas with chronic emphysema and COPD.  I am also a stage 4 lung cancer survivor who has been cancer free for ten years now.  I own my own home and with no mortgage and in April of 2025 my area experienced high winds, flooding and hail which caused extensive damage to my home including the siding , roof and windows which were already showing signs of age and drafty in places but now they are open to  the elements and are causing a health issue with my emphysema and COPD by letting the heat out of my home in the winter and the cool out during the summer months along with safety concerns because the screens had to be taken off because of extensive damage.  I managed to have the roof replaced several months ago and have contacted numerous organizations in and around my community for help but there was no one or organization who supports window replacement.  My siding on the exterior of my home suffered some hail damage as well and there are approximately 5 individual panels or strips that need replacing along with 4 corners and I cannot find any funding for this repair neither.  I live on SSI and SSDI with a tolal monthly income of $1014 a month.

I have gotten several estimates for the 5 window replacements with the lowest estimate being approximately $3850 plus tax and siding repairs of around a thousand dollars for materials and labor .   If I can come up with %5000 I can manage to pay anything over that myself out of my own monthly savings of $10 a month I have put back for this over the past 5 months for a total savings of $50 thus far.

Any help I can possibly receive will be greatly appreciated Thank You All for listening to my story. May God bless each and every one of you.
