Brian was diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma in May 2024 and we are about half way through this healing process.
We feel confident that God has prepared Brian spiritually, physically and emotionally and we are praising Him for this every day.
However, God has shown us both that we are now in a season of receiving from our family and friends that will help us walk this road. We have already seen the sacrifices our friends and family have made to make this just a little easier for us every day. Most importantly we have seen God move on our behalf every step of the way! He has been two steps ahead of us from the beginning and we are standing firm that Brian will receive complete restoration and healing through the Lord’s provision.
We have accepted the reality of the cost associated with this cancer diagnosis including initial surgeries, biopsies, chemotherapy, hospital stays, other treatments,pharmaceutical needs, travel expenses, supplements, all the unknown things that occur.
As people ask and check in with us, we always ask for prayer in the following areas: clarity as we navigate this process, strength in his body to tolerate the chemotherapy and infusions, minimal side effects, and for the girls to feel comfortable and see and feel Gods presence through this.
You won’t believe the ways we’ve already seen God working, whether it be through a doctor, a staff member, friends from work, neighbors, family members …. We can’t help but feel overwhelmed with gratitude and love.
We are beyond grateful for everyone who feels led to support us through this. It’s a territory that we have thankfully never had to navigate but we know that God will always provide for us through his people.
