I knew Jason Myers from our freshman year of high school, and I considered him a friend. One remarkable thing about Jason was his journey in the school band. He started in the third and lowest band, but by his senior year, he had worked his way up to the first band. His determination paid off when he achieved his dream of becoming the lead band director at our high school, the very place where he decided on his career path.
Jason was a person who pursued his dreams with unwavering dedication. He designed the life he wanted to the best of his abilities, inspiring those around him with his perseverance and passion. He was not only a talented musician and a dedicated teacher but also a loving husband and father.
Tragically, none of us can determine our end. Jason Myers passed away from medical complications in June 2024, leaving behind his wife, Laura, and their two young sons. The loss of Jason is a profound tragedy for his family and all who knew him.
I am starting this campaign to help Laura cover the medical and funeral expenses for Jason, so she can begin to rebuild their family and support their boys as they follow their dad’s path of creating the lives they aspire to live. Your tax deductible contribution will help alleviate some of the financial burdens during this incredibly difficult time, allowing Laura to focus on healing and being there for her sons.
Your contribution to their family is tax-deductible, and any amount you can give will make a significant difference. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly.
Thank you for your support,
Penny Howard
