Hello, my name is Trish, and I am reaching out during a particularly challenging time in my life. On January 23, 2026, I was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, a highly aggressive form of the disease, at the age of sixty. The past several months have been a whirlwind of emotions and medical appointments, including biopsies, MRIs, genetic testing, and consultations with oncologists and surgical specialists. On February 5, 2026, my oncologist delivered the concerning news that I may also have lung cancer, which often spreads to nearby lymph nodes in the chest due to the lung’s dense lymphatic network. Most recently, on February 24, 2026, further testing confirmed a Stage IV terminal diagnosis, revealing that my original breast cancer tumor has metastasized. A genetic test also indicated a 97% probability of developing ovarian cancer. While I am incredibly grateful to be here today, I recognize that my journey to recovery is far from over. Despite having private health insurance, the out-of-pocket costs for biopsies, genetic testing, port catheter surgery, chemotherapy, and potential future surgeries range from an overwhelming $6,000 to $9,000. I never imagined I would find myself in a position where I need to ask for financial help to cover life-threatening medical expenses, but it has become essential for my future.
**How You Can Help…**
I am asking for your support to help raise $9,000 to cover these gap fees for my cancer treatment regimen and any necessary future surgeries. Every dollar donated will bring me one step closer to reclaiming my body and my life. If you’re unable to donate, I completely understand, but I would deeply appreciate it if you could share my story with others who might be able to help.
Thank you so much for your support. Together, we can make a difference!
