My daughter was recently diagnosed with adrenocortical carcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. This news has completely changed our lives, and we are now focused on making sure she gets the best care possible. As her parent, I am doing everything I can to support her, but it’s a difficult road ahead. We are facing many challenges, including frequent travel for treatments and the need to be away from work so I can be there for her every step of the way.
The funds raised through this campaign will help cover travel and daily expenses, allowing me to focus on my daughter’s health and well-being. With a baby at home as well, our family is stretched thin, and your support will make a real difference in helping us stay together and strong during this time. Every donation, no matter the size, will help us manage the costs and give my daughter the best chance at recovery. As well as giving us and her the most time and the best time possible without having to worry about bills or losing our apartment because we can’t work. Especially with how often we are at the hospital for weeks at a time, or without putting Amara at risk of getting sick with her weakened immune system. It’s just a difficult situation.
