This is for my daughter.
Audra is the sole breadwinner of her household, and has been hospitalized due to necrotizing pancreatitis that developed as a result of an ERCP procedure she had done to remove bile duct stones on March 3rd. She is currently on her second hospital stay and has been transferred from her local hospital about 100 miles away to UC Davis Medical Center, Sacramento to get the specialized care she needs, leaving behind a very depressed and stressed family and dog. The doctor has told us she could be staying at UC Davis for anywhere from a few more weeks or a few months. This is going to give her family trouble keeping up on bills which could result in them losing their rental home.
My daughter’s family is now struggling to pay their bills and keep their house, without Audra’s income. Her long-term boyfriend is on social security and her daughter has been having medical struggles of her own, leaving them both unable to work. Their family dog has been unable to willingly go potty and has already cost them $800 at the vet with little improvement, the vet said this is likely due to depression from her being in the hospital.
The donations will help her family with housing and living expenses such as rent, utilities, groceries as well as travel expenses to visit Audra in the hospital.
