Update: Cause of Gabriel’s Passing, and How Things Are Now
Hi everyone — thank you all so much for your love, support, prayers, and the kind messages. It’s meant more than I can say during this time.
I wanted to share a little more clarity about Gabriel’s sudden passing: he died of natural causes, specifically complications from hypertension cardiovascular disease. I know many of you have been wondering, and I hope this helps give some peace and understanding.
These past few months have been incredibly hard. Losing Gabriel has changed everything. One of the biggest challenges I’m facing now is balancing work and child care. Working from home is very difficult without Gabriel here to help — especially with the kids’ needs — and daycare costs are extremely expensive. That makes it tough to focus on earning income while also being fully present for them.
The 2 older kids are now going to school every day. While that gives us a little more routine and structure, it also adds more responsibilities with drop-offs, pickups, and keeping up with school needs. I’m doing my best to manage everything, but it’s a lot to carry on my own.
Your contributions are helping more than you know — with the bills, with securing childcare, with giving the kids the normalcy of school, and just keeping us afloat. If you can continue to share the campaign, or help in any way possible, it would mean the world.

My heart is shattered in ways I can’t explain…
It is with unbearable sadness that I share the unexpected passing of my husband, my life partner of 18 years, and the incredible father to his 4 children.
To say this is a tragic loss doesn’t even begin to describe it. The kind of man who lit up every room with his laughter, who had a joke or comeback for everything—always the clown, always making us laugh even on the hardest days.
He was my protector, my biggest cheerleader, my comforter. He knew how to make me feel like everything would be okay, even when the world felt heavy. He loved his family so deeply and gave his all to make sure we were taken care of. Our kids adored him. He was their superhero, their fun-loving dad who danced in the living room, made up silly songs, and always knew how to make them laugh.
Now we’re left trying to figure out how to move forward without his voice, his smile, his hugs, and his endless love.
Please keep our family in your prayers. We are devastated. And to all of you reading this—hug your people tighter, say “I love you” more often, and don’t take a single moment for granted.
