Hello Everyone! I am coming up on my 42nd birthday here in a couple weeks, and frankly, I don’t know how many more I will celebrate.  I got the official devastating news of ovarian clear cell carcinoma, stage IIIB.  I had major abdominal surgery on April 6, 2023, in Dallas, TX, when a 14-pound tumor that had metastasized from one ovary left from my hysterectomy in 2012 was removed.  I am to do 6 rounds of chemotherapy that have not started yet due to insurance reasons.  I have so many applications out there pending for help (Social Security, Health & Human Services, utility assistance, etc.), it’s just the waiting periods for these programs is enormous.  I live in Alpine, TX where my only child is going to be a senior in high school this year.  This is supposed to be very exciting time, & it still is!  Since I am not doing treatment and feeling pretty good these days, I have gone back to work part time.  I am doing the absolute best I can, however I am still struggling financially.  It’s a heavy burden that if I can help lighten in any way, I will.  I don’t have to mention how expensive senior year is, or how much it cost to live way out in west Texas, or how much it’s going to cost to get me started going to treatment in Odessa, TX.  I do have to mention how much I sincerely appreciate any consideration of donation to me and my beautiful daughter.  Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!
