I am a single mother of four children. I am taking online classes to work towards a better life for my children, I lost my job and now in the process of being evicted from my home. I am looking for resources to help me move my children into a new place for us to live and help until I can get re-established. I have two girls; ages are 13 and 11 and I also have twin boys that are five years old. I am trying to find a three- or four-bedroom rental that I can afford. It doesn’t have to be large, but it does need to be in a safe neighborhood so my children can be comfortable. I live near two Universities, so the rental market is not easy to navigate to find affordable housing. It is very important to keep my family together in one place as a family. The struggle over the past months have been a hard one, but I am keeping the faith that everything will work out for the best. My oldest child struggles a bit in school because of her ADHD; she excels in art and loves theater class. My 11-year-old makes straight A’s and is more reserved than the others. My twin boys are definitely all boys, full of energy and imagination, they are each other’s best friend. I am so blessed to have such wonderful children and want them to have the best life that they deserve. Unfortunately, things don’t always turn the way we would have liked them to. I will be very grateful to anyone that would be willing to help out, so I can provide a home for my children and try to make a good life for them.
