My 25-year-old sister is one of the most kind, most understanding, and most courageous persons that I know, and she has cared for me as long as I have been alive, and now she needs help, she has no insurance, and her doctor bills are hefty. She has spent most of her twenties in a hospital and hasn’t even been able to live a decent life due to her illness, it’s stealing her youth. She has what is called Gastroparesis, which is where the stomach muscles do not work and can’t process food; this has made it difficult for her to perform daily tasks like even showering. She spends her days curled up in a ball on her bed. Due to gastroparesis lasting for over 7 years, she has developed mental health issues as well, like Anxiety, depression, and stress disorder, she has no joy in life and is wasting away.  I and my family are trying so hard to keep her alive. So if you can help at all, anything is very much appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and we love and appreciate you all even if you can’t give anything; thoughts and prayers work as well, and your money could not go to a better, more caring person. She is grateful for any help and doesn’t like to be a burden, But I would rather do this for her than have her die due to this horrible illness. My dad recently lost a significant amount of income and is unable to put any more money toward treatment. She just needs a little help; since she can’t hold down a job and has been turned down for disability twice, she does not qualify for insurance since she is not gainfully employed. No one has been able to help us so far, if anyone could help it would be an answer to our prayers. We are good honest people and only ask because the situation has worsened and we are over our heads. She is so young and deserves to live a decent life, please help if you can.
