This health issue has not only impacted on my ability to move but has also taken away my main source of income, which I depended on to support my family. Although my boyfriend works at Amazon, his earnings alone are not enough to cover our expenses. Since I lost my job, I’ve been struggling with deep sadness and feelings of depression, and the weight of my rent is becoming harder to bear. Life has thrown some tough challenges on my way, but I am committed to completing my education at Ultimate Medical Academy and building a career in healthcare. Right now, I find myself in a tough spot, uncertain about how to handle my rent payments. I often feel overwhelmed by my emotions, battling thoughts of depression and even suicidal feelings. My mental health has taken a hit, and I sometimes feel like failure and isolation. However, I hold onto my faith, believing that God will guide me through this, and I refuse to give up. I’m truly concerned that my financial situation may prevent me from graduating. Regrettably, every grant and financial aid application I’ve submitted has been turned down due to my poor credit history.
I recently sustained an injury to my left ankle, which has resulted in considerable pain in my leg and has further restricted my ability to work, ultimately leading to my job loss. Every morning, I wake up with a strong desire to learn and assist others, as my heart truly lies in the medical field. I am committed to finishing my degree, even in the face of these obstacles. However, I am concerned that without urgent financial assistance, I might have to put my studies on hold. This past year has been extremely challenging, and there have been moments when I felt completely overwhelmed.
