Our friend, Russell Golemba of Rockford, MI, has been diagnosed with a serious, life threatening cancer. He needs our prayers and our financial help with extensive medical bills as he begins his treatment. Here are some details:
Diagnosis: Laryngeal Cancer called Squamous Cell Sarcomatoid Carcinoma, stage three
Date Found: September 9, 2022
Protocol One: Radiation and Chemotherapy for 7 weeks, 5 days a week starting October 25th, Immunological treatments, Experimental treatments.
Treatment Location: University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan
Prognosis: We don’t know yet. We hope the Radiation and Chemo take care of it. If not, they will take out his voice box, neck lymph nodes and part of the neck thyroid.
Commitment: Russ is committed to beat this cancer at all cost. He’s a 61-year-old male in tremendous shape and does not take any medication. He has two children (son and daughter) and a 6 year old grandson.
