I am creating this donation campaign to help cover my Uber transportation costs, which I primarily use
Reliable transportation has become one of my greatest needs during this season of rebuilding my health, reconnecting with my community, and launching my new business. I am seeking support for wheels for special trips—transportation that allows me to travel back and forth to essential places such as church, the bank, the mall, community events, and, when needed, medical appointments. I am currently in the process of reestablishing my Medicaid and have already submitted all required paperwork, but until everything is finalized, transportation remains a significant challenge. Because of chronic pain and illness, I lost my driver’s license, which has made it difficult to stay active, independent, and engaged in the work I am called to do.
At the same time, I am building The Masquerade Hour: Where Your Voice Matters, a healing-centered youth event and social enterprise dedicated to empowering young people, uplifting unheard voices, and fostering community connection. On January 21st, I will be partnering with the Girl Scouts of North East Ohio to coordinate meaningful events that support youth and families across our region. Reliable transportation is essential for me to attend meetings, plan events, and continue growing this mission-driven work.
Your support would help me maintain consistent access to transportation during this critical transition—allowing me to stay connected to my community, care for my health, and continue building a business rooted in healing and empowerment. I am deeply grateful for every act of generosity.
My 19-year-old daughter is also preparing to take her driver’s test soon. She has been learning through Capabilities, and some additional practice driving would help her gain confidence. She works at Culver’s and has been saving diligently for a car and for college. Reliable transportation would support both of us as we work toward stability, independence, and a brighter future.
